Broadbeach Win Gold Coast Soccer Title

Broadbeach United have beaten Palm Beach, 1-0, in a huge upset in the Gold Coast Soccer AFC grand final played at Palm Beach this evening.

The hosts were short odds to clinch the title after finishing the regular season streets ahead of the field, however a powerful defensive display helped Broadbeach to their second consecutive grand final win.

Earlier in the Premier Reserves final, Palm Beach trumped Broadbeach, 2-1.
