Junior Under 7

We expect to have three or four Under 7 teams in 2012 and there are vacancies. Players should be turning seven in 2012 to play in this age group (therefore born 2005).

Parental involvement is encouraged and in fact crucial at this age group and coaches are usually parents. A one-day Grassroots Coaching course is available for all parent volunteers. Games are played on Saturday mornings and there is a training day, usually for an hour after school midweek. The day of training is usually determined by the coach's schedule! Players must wear boots and shin pads, club socks and shorts. A team jersey is provided. Emphasis at this age is on basic skills, participation and fun.

Sign-on day is 4-5 February 2012, at the Chelsea Avenue clubhouse Broadbeach. Training starts in March and the games start in April.
