Junior Sign-On: 4-5 February

Broadbeach United Junior sign-on is on 4-5 February from 9am till noon on both Saturday and Sunday. Come along to our clubhouse at Chelsea Avenue, Broadbeach and sign up for the 2012 season.

We have vacancies in Under 6 to Under 15 junior teams, boys and girls. Experienced and novice players welcome. We are especially looking for Under 11, 14 and 15 players this year.

In competition ranks we expect to field Division 2 Under 12; Division 2 and 4 Under 13; Division 3 Under 14 and Division 1 Under 15.

Early bird registration fees for U6-U9 players are $245. U10-U15 players are $270. Payment via cash or cheque only at the club, or sign-up using the online registration form for PayPal payment (includes Visa and MasterCard).

You may also pay by direct deposit to the club bank account (Broadbeach United Soccer Club Inc, BSB 084716, Account 016312842). When paying by this method, you must bring a printed copy of your direct deposit receipt to registration day and put your child's name in the transaction reference field.

Pre-season training will start the week of February 13.

U12-U15 games begin with grading rounds March 21. U6-U11 season begins April 14. Please note that U15 will play on Friday nights. U14 have been moved to Saturday mornings this season due to field availability.

Bring your old soccer boots along to the sign-on day and leave them for someone whose feet might fit them now. Have a look at what's been left for you. It's a good way of exchanging boots that are still in good condition but have grown out of.

We have formed a junior committee for 2012 who will meet regularly to ratify such things as payments, player transfers, coaching courses, equipment needs, etc. We will also assist where needed in dispute resolution. The committee is Dean Gould, Dave Hortz, Matthew Brown, Matt Hay, David Lister, Helen Alesana, Kris Butcher and Anna Mahara.

We are a family-oriented club with a great success rate, showing that we can combine an inclusive approach with a winning formula.

Our coaches, many of whom are parents of players, receive extra training every year and we are building a formidable team of qualified and experienced junior coaches. We have great facilities in a central location.
