Junior Under 6

We usually have three or four Under 6 teams each year. Players have to be five years old to take the field (born 2006).

U6 has teams of six players with four on the field at any time. Parental involvement is encouraged and in fact crucial at this age group and coaches are usually parents. A one-day Grassroots Coaching course is available for all parent volunteers. Games are played on Saturday mornings and there is a training day, usually for an hour after school midweek. The day of training is usually determined by the coach's schedule! Players must wear boots and shin pads, club socks and shorts. A team jersey is provided. Emphasis at this age is on basic skills, participation and fun.

Sign-on day is 4-5 February 2012, at the Chelsea Avenue club house, Broadbeach. Training starts in March and the games start in April.
